Spring Blossom is the 1st in a series of four shawls that I have called the Four Seasons Collection.

This is an irregular pentagon shaped shawl, worked in one piece, from the top down. Casting on requires using the provisional cast-on method.

Instructions for this shawl are provided in both written and charted format.

The design for this Spring Blossom Shawl was inspired by the four seasons. As I live in the northern hemisphere, we are currently coming into the spring season and the blossom will be appearing soon, along with the daffodils.
I have used Faery Wings 4ply yarn by Fyberspates to knit this shawl in a shade called Soft Pink. The colour and the fabulous blend of silk and mohair in this yarn are just perfect for knitting a shawl as soft and delicate as spring blossom.
