Spring Blossoms
Spring is near! This socks are knit toe-up and feature an estonian blossom lace pattern which extends down the foot, decorative calf shaping and an unique heel construction.
Yardage
I used almost the whole skein of Dream in Color’s Smooshy, after finishing just 2 grams were left over. If you’ve got very long legs you might eventually need to buy a second skein to be safe! When using Wollmeise, one skein will be enough.
Ankle length modifications
The pattern tells you to start the calf section after 9cm or as soon as the ankle is long enough to cover your leg up to the start of your calf increase. Please make sure to work the leg section until you reach that point to make sure your socks will be truly kneeheights.
Sizing
One size, foot length is adjustable. Please note that the lace pattern is not very stretchy – if you’re a big girl with appropiate calves going up a needle size could be an idea.
