BY COMBINING lace, twisted stitches and wrap stitches, Kelly Menzies has created richly textured pattern for this hat design. The wrap stitches form flower-like motifs with an embossed look, linked by curving lines of twisted stitches. The crown decreases form an eleven-pointed star effect. Kelly’s hat is knitted in a pure Falkland Islands wool from West Yorkshire Spinners, which is available in a palette of 12 vintage-inspired shades.
