Pretty blanket constructed from octagons, joined together with lacy squares and triangles.
The octagons include a section of inset mosaic crochet, which is actually much easier to do than it looks, as there are no colour changes with rounds.

Pattern includes a clear chart for the mosaic section, full written instructions and step by step photos, and comes in a choice of UK or US terms.
