This is the perfect project for leftover skeins of fingering weight yarn and mohair we have in our stashes.

Sizes
Size small: Wingspan 100 cm/ 30 center depth
Size large: wingspan 160 cm/ 50 cm center depth

Yarn
The shawl uses a strand of fingering weight yarn held together with a strand of lace weight yarn, but they can be substituted for a single strand of DK weight yarn. If you are using DK, follow only the yarn amount requirements for the fingering weight yarn.

Size 1: 1 skein of Knitting for Olive Merino (100% merino; 250 meters / 273 yards per 50 g) or 250 m / 273 yards of similar fingering weight yarn
and 1 skein of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (70% mohair, 30% silk; 225 m / 246 yards per 25 g) or 225 m / 246 yards of similar lace weight yarn; both shown in colorway Powder. Total weight - 57 g
Size 2: 2 skeins of Knitting For Olive Merino and 2 skeins of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair; both shown in the colorway Claret.
Total weight - 130 g

Needles
100 cm/40” circular knitting needle:
4 mm/ US 6 for size 1
4.5 mm/ US 7 for size 2
Adjust needle sizes as necessary to match the lace gauge.

20 sts and 30 rounds in 10 cm /4” in Stockinette st knitted flat, on 4 mm needles, measured after blocking
22 sts in 10 cm/ 4” in lace pattern, on 4 mm needles, measured after blocking
