Spring to Autumn Reversible Potholder
Spring to Autumn is a double-knit, reversible potholder. A brief double-knitting photo tutorial is included in the pattern.
Yarn: You will need approximately 80 yards each of two contrasting worsted- or aran-weight cottons for best results. (Pictured: Hobby Lobby “I Love This Cotton!” in Antique Gold – aran, 1 skein / 100g / 180 yards, 100% cotton; Lily Sugar’n Cream Solid in Sage Green – worsted, 1 skein / 70g / 120 yards, 100% cotton)
Supplies:
- US size 7 needles
- tapestry needle
Gauge was measured on one side of the finished double-knit portion before washing. If you swatch, the gauge of a single layer of stockinette will NOT be identical to that of one side of a double-knit square of the same size.
Finished Measurements: Finished potholder measures approximately 11 inches by 11 inches before washing.
This is the pattern for Week Twenty-Six of Pattern a Week at Running Jack Knits.
