The Spring’s Return shawl is inspired by the joy of home and garden in the spring. Just as it starts to be warm enough to look forward to pottering about among the fresh shoots and blossoms, to taking a cup of tea to listen to the birdsong, and contemplating (while often deciding against) garden picnics.

Spring’s Return is an elegant triangular wrap with a subtle and beautiful lace edging. The geometric lace brings to mind the paving of patios and paths. Whether or not you are willing to brave wearing it while weeding, it is perfect to keep the chill off your shoulders if you are ever misled by a glorious sunny day into expecting warmth!

The shawl begins with a garter tab cast on and is worked from the top down to the lace edging.
