This lovely tee features a fun way to combine two colours of fingering weight yarn in a modern item for everyday wear.

“Sprinkle Tee” is worked in two colours with a strand of each held together to create a sprinkled/marled effect. The design features clear lines of twisted ribbing and stockinette stitch to build a clean background that lets the yarns and sprinkle effect shine.
Hem and sleeve cuffs highlight each colour individually.

It is a relaxed fitting, short sleeved sweater with a boxy body, boat neck and drop shoulders. The construction is worked top-down, seamlessly in one piece. Upper front and back are worked flat down from the shoulder cast-on, then the body is worked in the round down to the hem. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round.

This design has been created in collaboration with ITO and I had the pleasure to work with their wonderful “Rakuda” for my sample.

I hope you enjoy the pattern!

YARN & YARDAGE REQUIREMENTS
Designed for fingering weight yarn in two colours, used with holding two strands together.
Yarn used for sample: ITO Rakuda (light fingering weight, 40 g = 231 yds / 212 m) in colourways Silver and White.
Yardage requirements:
1073 (1230, 1392, 1559, 1731) 1908, 2090, 2277, 2469 yds /
981 (1124, 1272, 1425, 1582) 1744, 1910, 2082, 2257 m
Yardage given is for working with two strands of yarn held together! If using only a single strand of sport/dk weight yarn that gives you the same gauge, it would only require about half the yardage.
Please keep in mind that yardage requirements are always an estimate based on calculations and will vary with different yarn and/or gauge and knitting style. Make sure you have enough yarn available.

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Gauge: 20 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in stockinette stitch after light blocking.
Needles used for sample: 4.5 mm / US 7
