This vest was inspired by an old-fashioned knitted vest. Simple and close fitting in shape, the fine details add interest. Knitted in stocking stitch, with graduated lacy diamonds on the front, and edged with garter stitch round the neckline and armholes.

This garment is knitted from the front hem up and over the shoulders and down the back, all in one piece. Then the side seams are sewn at the end.
