The pattern is worked from the top down and finished off with either long fringe OR handspun long-wool locks as the fringe instead. These handspun yarns can be purcased from Butterfly Girl Designs in her Etsy shop if you cannot make or find some locally. You only need 4 yds of the handspun. If you are making the fringe from a matching (or contrasting) fingering weight yarn you will need an extra skein for just the fringe.
