Sometimes you want a gift bag to have a square base, so this square pouch style bag fits the bill.
It can be made in any weight of yarn provided you use the same yarn weight throughout and use a suitable hook – so 3mm for 4ply, 3.5mm for sport and 4mm for dk. It can also be made from scraps of leftover yarn.
