This is a short sleeved tunic with a modified drop shoulder, making sleeve execution easy. It features a diagonal check stitch pattern on the front with a stockinette stitch back and sleeves. It is especially effective knit in a variegated yarn with a long color repeat, such as Knit Picks Chroma worsted. The square neck and sleeve and bottom hems are finished in garter stitch. It uses a size 7 (4.5 mm) needle.
