This squeaky toy for little ones was inspired by cartoon trees and begs to be knitted in any color that takes your fancy (or suits your yarn stash!). It measures approximately 4 - 5 inches square.

What you will need:
2 knitting needles (US3/3.25mm size required to match tension square)
1 ball of your main color (approx. 30g)
An oddment of brown yarn for the trunk
Oddments for decorating with apples, flowers, etc.
Acrylic toy stuffing (polyfil)
1 tapestry needle for sewing up
Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing and decreasing
Stitches used: Stocking stitch
