️ A Squirrel Nutkin pattern Tale:
At the initial design meeting with the publisher the question arose as to whether the Squirrel Nutkin pattern should have a tail or not?
If you know the Beatrix Potter story you’ll know that poor SN lost lid tail through his teasing old owl !!
There was even mention of a detachable Velcro version
Needless to say he does have a tail but there is a small note to suggest it’s completely optional
What am I talking about?
