Squooshy Slouchy
Here it is, a super cozy hat that’s squooshy soft with just enough slouch. It works up in a blink with two strands of thick-and-thin yarn held together, giving it a fun marled texture. Top it off with a matching extra large pom pom, or choose a faux fur fluff ball. Pretty cute, don’t you think?
Two skeins of Merino Textura will make two hats (one for you, one for a friend), just make your yarn pom poms at the end or use faux fur poms.
Supplies:
2 skeins Merino Textura in contrasting colors (yarn is held double)
US size #10.5 - 16” circular needles
US size #11 - 16” circular & double pointed needles
Stitch marker, Darning needle
If you don’t want to work with two strands of yarn held together, you could substitute about 115 yards of a bulky yarn. Just make sure to get a gauge of about 3 sts = 1”.
