Sørvest, Southwest in English, is an oversized vest with drop-down shoulders that is knitted from the bottom up. The garment is quick to knit on needle 6 mm in Vams from Rauma yarns (100% Norwegian wool). The vest is knitted in the round until you have finished the colourwork. Then it’s knitted back and forth, before the shoulders are sewn together. Then the hood is knitted back and forth and sewn together. Finally you pick up stitches and knit the buttonband and the rib along the arm holes. Southwest should have a positive ease between 10-15 cm. Measure yourself around the chest and add 10-15 cm to find the right size for you. Enjoy!
