The St. Helier Pullover pays homage to traditional gansey styling, while adding something new with the illusion of a shirttail. The look is achieved by knitting the body from the bottom up, then picking up stitches from the back side of the hem and working down. The gansey eyelet motif in the yoke is mirrored in the shirttail.
