Stainbodi
En uppdaterad fiskartröja - stadig, tålig och elegant.
An updated fisherman’s sweater – sturdy, hardwearing and understated. Not too baggy but warm. The Stainbodi sweater was inspired by the grey shades of Gotland sheep, old fisherman’s sweaters and the dry-stone limestone walls of the fishermen’s sheds.
Method: the sweater is worked on a circular needle from the bottom up with patterned borders, patterned upper body and
sleeves, and agarter stitch yoke with slipped stitches. Note that garter stitch is worked with alternate knit and purl rounds
when working in the round. The sleeves are worked in rounds on DPNs. The rounds begin) at the right side. The borders of the
sleeves and neck are folded over and knitted together on the inside to give sturdy borders.
