The inspiration for this blanket came after a visit to Saint Paul Cathedral in London, the stained windows were creating such lovely winter blue colours and I was taken by the feeling inside. I took a few pictures and I made a mental note to design a blanket with them, fast forward many months later… here is the pattern!

Paintbox simply chunky
J hook (6mm)
Tapestry or yarn needle
