Star Heirloom
An heirloom shawl with a modern twist, it’s not a square or a circle but a 6 wedge shawl which can be worn quite easily. This one will win you plenty of State Fair ribbons. This will be knit as a KAL with one clue coming out each month so that at the end of 2017 you will have a shawl. First clue to come out in the end of December.
Supplies:
Yarn: Yarn Fairy Siren Cobweb, 85/15 silk/cashmere, 2620 yards per 100 gram skein, 2 skeins
Needle: US size 0/2mm, (or size needed for a nice fabric) 32 & 50 inch long circular
Beads: Czech pressed 11/0, color to match, 2 hanks, about 8,000
Crochet hook: size 16/.05mm for placement method of beading
Gauge: If your a loose knitter go down as many needle sizes as normal to get gauge. Tight knitters reverse.
Finished Measurements: Nape to neck TBD inches, wingspan TBD inches
Fae Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Skills Needed: Knit, purl, beading, yo, decreases, follow directions and read a chart.
