Size
A little under 6cm (2 ¼”) tall, if made with sport weight cotton (Schachenmayr Catania, 125m/50g) and 2.25mm (US size C) hook. You can use thicker or thinner yarn for different sizes.

Tools and materials:
~ Yarn or thread (about 3.5m / 4yd if using sport weight with C hook) - any weight, it will only influence the finished size
~ Hook matching your chosen yarn (I suggest using a hook 1-2 size smaller than the yarn label’s recommendation, for tight and firm stitches)
~ Pair of scissors, yarn needle
~ For starching: PVA glue (white glue, elmer’s glue or decoupage glue), small jar or bowl, paintbrush, corrugated cardboard covered in plastic wrap, and pins
