Size 15¾ (17½)“ circumference at neck edge, 80 (90¾)” circumference at hem, and 12 (14½)“ long (either length can be worked for either circumference; see Notes); shown in smaller size and 12” long
Yarn The Fibre Company Canopy Fingering (50% alpaca, 30% merino, 20% bamboo; 200 yd 183 m/50 g):
• macaw, 3 (4) skeins for shorter length; 4 skeins for longer length Yarn distributed by Kelbourne Woolens
Gauge 20 sts and 37 rows = 4” in St st on largest needles; 22 sts and 59 rows = 4” in garter st on size 3 (3.25 mm) needle
Tools
• Size 5 (3.75 mm) needles
• Size 3 (3.25 mm): 24” or longer circular (cir) needle
• Size 2 (2.25 mm): 2 double-pointed needles (dpn)
• Two 1” shank buttons
• Waste yarn for provisional CO
• Markers (m)
