Does anyone else adore Neil Gaiman as much as I do? Stardust’s name inspiration comes from Neil Gaiman’s whimsically dark book titled Stardust. The book follows the literary traditions of original fairy tales, which aren’t particularly kid-friendly.
Stardust is a triangular-shaped shawl pattern worked along the bias that features chunks of garter stitch broken up by lacework that gently resembles stars. This engaging shawl has directions for three sizes, making it easy to work up with 1-3 skeins of yarn. The size options make it the perfect shawl for cleaning out some of your yarn stash (to make room for new pretty yarn, right?)! You’ll also find yardage for each section provided should you wish to make Stardust genuinely unique to you by using up scraps or mini-skeins.
Worked flat, Stardust contains written directions and charts. A handy-dandy progress tracker is included to help you with your rows and stitch counts. Yardage for each section is given should you wish to turn this into a scrappy project!
