This cardigan has a very easy construction, with minimal shaping and finishing. A light cardigan perfect for spring and summer wear.

BODY
CO 162 (178, 198, 218) sts. Do not join. Beg Garter st; work even until piece measures 2 1/4” from beg, ending with a WS row.
Next Row (RS): K9 (edge sts, keep in Garter st), work Diamond Pattern A (B, A, B) to last 9 sts, k9 (edge sts, keep in Garter st). Work even until piece measures approx. 16 (15, 15, 13 3/4)“ from beg, ending with Row 22 (8, 16, 2) of patt.
SLEEVES
Shape Sleeve
Next Row (WS): P1 (edge st), pfb 1 (1, 1, 2) time(s), p0 (0, 0, 1); rep from to last st, p1 (edge st) – 74 (82, 82, 92) sts.
Next Row: K1 (edge st), work Diamond Pattern A (B, B, A) to last st, k1 (edge st). Work even until piece measures approx. 15 3/4 (17 3/4, 17 3/4, 15 3/4)“ from beg for Long Sleeve, ending with Row 32 (36, 36, 32) of patt, or until piece measures approx. 13 1/4 (15, 15, 13 1/4)” from beg for 3/4-Length Sleeve, ending with Row 16 (18, 18, 16) of patt.
FINISHING
Beginning at armhole edge, and using 3-Needle BO, BO 37 (41, 46, 51) sts for each shoulder, leaving 9 sts at each Front neck edge; break yarn.
Join Fronts at Neck: Place 9 rem sts from each Front on separate needles, with needle tips facing away from Front neck edges. With RSs of Fronts together, join a new ball of yarn; using 3-Needle BO, BO all sts. Sew in Sleeves; sew Sleeve seams.
