Starola is Lola’s starstruck dishcloth pattern, ready for some spectacular gift knitting. Lolember members… you have everything you need to knit a few Starola’s!

Lolember is my alter-ego Lola’s countdown calendar. You can read about it here.

Starola is knit with Kelbourne Woolens Skipper, an absorbent, washable 100% Tanguis cotton, which I chose for its durability and soft hand.

One ball of Skipper can make 3 small Starolas or 1 big and 1 small Starola! You can hold metallic thread along with the cotton if you want your cloth to have a delightful sparkle.

Starola starts from the center-out with a circular cast on and is worked with a simple lace stitch that creates a star at the center of your cloth. Once the pattern is complete the edge is finished with garter stitch ridges and the bound off.
