Starry summer night is an asymmetrical triangle shawl, it’s knit with garter and pearl brioche. It’s a squishy and warm shawl, much like the feeling of your feet sinking in the warm sand on a summer evening walk on the beach.

It’s a rather big shawl as it’s around 2,30m long so you can wrap yourself comfortably in a hug.

Gauge:
Garter with single yarn: 21 sts x 48 rows blocked
Garter with suri-silk: 20 sts x 34 rows blocked
Pearl brioche: 21 sts x 26 rows (row 1 &2 count as one) blocked

Gauge can be difficult to measure in brioche stitch, it’s not a big deal if you can’t get it right exactly, the most important thing is to always keep the edge’s stitches supple so that you can block to size.

Yarn used are:
C1: LITLG Singles - fingerging weight (366m - 100gr) in a dark color (Interstellar)
C2: LITLG Singles - fingerging weight (366m - 100gr) in a light color (Agate stone)
C3: LITLG Suri Cloud - suri-silk yarn (300m - 50gr) in a contrasting or complimenting color (Cockleshell)

Green sample is knitted with La Bien Aimée singles (Émeline and Paon, fingering weight ; 366m -100gr) and the suri-silk is hand dyed, 300m - 50gr.
