This is a new and improved version of my previous patter “A Tribute to Star Trek”. The differences are that this sweater

1. is crocheted in a lighter yarn with a thinner hook.
2. is crocheted top-down.
3. has longer sleeves with thumb-holes at the cuff (so called “sport sleeves”).
4. has a different collar and waistline.
5. has pockets.
6. is available in smaller and larger sizes.
7. has improved shaping of the yoke.

Flexibility in the pattern: The pattern gives instructions for both a zippered cardigan and a pullover with a short zipper in the yoke. In addition, the long sleeves with thumbholes can be shortened, and the pockets can be removed.
