Starter Brioche
Starter Brioche is designed for knitters who want to learn brioche.
When thinking of a name for the pattern, I liked starter brioche. It made me think of the starter for sourdough. That made me think of baked goods which led to brioche. And that my friends is the rabbit hole of my mind. Add a little butter and you’ve got knitting and breakfast.
I’ve use this pattern to teach Intro to 2-color Brioche knitting virtually . It’s a “doable” pattern for knitters new to brioche and an “easy” knit for seasoned brioche knitters. (Pun not intended, but I like it.)
Yarn: Approximately 109 yards of worsted weight yarn in 2 colors with good contrast. Sample was knit with Webs Hitchcock (100% Cashmere, 109 yards).
Needles & Notions
