If you’re looking for a free crochet flower wreath pattern that helps you use up small amounts of yarn, this is a simple and satisfying make.

You will need:
Yarn: Any 4ply (fingering weight) cotton yarn, as follows:
Oddments of different colours for the flowers; Green oddments for the leaves.
I used Scheepjes Catona oddments.

Hook: 3.5mm (US E/4).

Extras: 30cm (12in) circular metal wreath frame (or you can make a ring from cardboard for indoor use - instructions are included in
Making Up section); glue gun or PVA glue; optional tin of spray starch; wool needle.

Tension or Gauge
Not critical for this project because it doesn’t matter if your flowers or leaves turn out a different size.

Finished Size
Flowers: measure approximately 6.5cm (2.6in) across.
Leaves: measure approximately 5.5cm (2.2in) long.
Wreath: when assembled, measures approximately 30cm (12in) across.
