This shawl is made of organic cotton that has been hand spun and hand dyed. The dye must have been cocoa because the yarn gave off a chocolate aroma when steamed for blocking. I used two 6” diameter balls of this fingering (or sock weight) yarn and had a bit left over. I believe size 5 thread might work here too.

This design incorporates triple crochet and double-triple crochet stitches as well as bobbles and the crab stitch.
