Stefanie Moebius
The Stefanie Moebius can be worn over the head as a wimple or around the neck as a loose cowl.
I learned this intriguing moebius construction from Cat Bordhi. Not only does it have no “right” side, it is an endless loop. The pattern evolves from the cast-on in the center to the outer edge. The optional contrasting color for the edging helps to accentuate the moebuis’s infinity edge. The cast-on may be a bit tricky to learn, but it’s well worth the effort!
Yardage:
MC 410 - 470
CC 50 - 70
Notions: locking stitch markers for keeping track of cast-on sts (optional), 1 stitch marker in Color A for marking BOR, and 16 stitch markers in Color B for marking repeats (optional), tapestry needle
