When I first considered building my own knitting website, I already had the idea of designing a logo you can knit. Et voilà – here comes the logo cat! It took me quite a while to find a name for the little cutie, and in the end it was my husband who said that, of course, it had to be christianed „Steffi“. Okay, I might not be a cutie, but Steffi the Cat and Steffi the Designer have one thing in common: They love hats and shawls. Knitted, what else?

Choose any yarn you like or have left over – Steffi will be bigger or smaller depending on the yarn. Sock yarn will be fine, but I prefer the softer merino yarn.

Schon als ich zum ersten Mal über meine Website nachdachte, war mir eins klar: Ich wollte ein Logo entwerfen, das man stricken kann. Und voilà, hier schnurrt das Logo-Kätzchen! Lange habe ich nach dem richtigen Namen gesucht, dabei lag er doch so nahe – Steffi soll die Katze heißen. Ich bin zwar ein ausgewachsenes Exemplar, doch bin ich genauso verfröstelt wie sie und trage den lieben langen Winter Mützen und Schals!

Sie können jede beliebige Wolle verwenden (z. B. Strumpfgarn). Je nach Wollstärke wird Steffi größer oder kleiner.
