After a warm summer, there’s nothing more inviting than wrapping yourself in a thick, knitted sweater. Stella Sweater is the perfect companion for chilly August evenings. This sweater draws inspiration from Stella, the star of the August calendar - a symbol of light and warmth as the nights grow longer.

Stella Sweater is knitted from the top down in a broken rib pattern. The wide raglan sleeves give it a relaxed fit and end with a broad cuff. To enhance ease of movement, the sweater features side slits.
The best part? You can customize Stella Sweater exactly as you like. Knit it in a single color for a timeless look or let your imagination flow and create your own pattern with different colors. The possibilities are endless - let your creativity flourish!

So when the evenings turn cooler and the stars begin to twinkle, wrap yourself in Stella Sweater and feel the warmth from the star itself.

Happy knitting! :slightly_smiling_face:

Gauge: 18 sts in broken rib = 10 cm. Gauge is affecting final measurements and yardage.

Needles: Size 5 mm (or corresponding size to achieve gauge) on cables. It’s good to have cables of length 60/80/100 mm on hand. Start with the shortest cable and increase length when needed.
For sleeves, work with magic loop or use your very shortest cable or 5 DPNs of the same size. For neck collar, use size 5-6 mm for a loose fit.

Extras: 8 markers, 2 extra cables for holding sleeve stitches, a tapestry needle to weave in yarn ends and a measure tape.
