A stitch texture limited to the chest and upper sleeves of this crewneck pullover makes it a great project for TV knitting and long drives. Haydenville’s durable, easy-care properties make it a good choice for a sweater that will get lots of wear. This pullover is knit in the round from hem to underarms where the front and back are divided and knit flat to the shoulders where they join with a three-needle bind-off. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and include short-row sleeve caps knit back and forth in the same Swedish Block pattern as the yoke before working in stockinette stitch in the round to the cuffs. For a cozy everyday sweater with wide appeal, Stewartia is a fantastic choice. Texture pattern is both charted and written out.
