Stick Season Sweater
The Stick Season sweater is inspired by the Stick Season album by Noah Kahan. It’s all about getting cosy as the days get colder, and having comfort nearby.
The sweater is a take on a traditional gansey with a textured yoke, shoulder detailing and faux seams. The drop shoulder makes for an easy and relaxed fit.
There is also a Stick Season hat pattern which can be found here. All proceeds from the hat sales during the month of November will go to the VT Flood Response and Recovery Fund 2023

Knitting for Men
The Stick Season pattern is graded to a women’s sizing chart. Both the sample shown in the photos and the tester versions for men were knit using this pattern, but may have some modifications to armhole depth, bicep width and body/sleeve length. A schematic of the pattern sizes can be found in the pattern photos.
There is (as of 3.02.2024) an additional document in the pattern which has a more detailed breakdown on how to check if you need to make any modifications, and if so how to calculate these.
