Yarn Choices:
This piece, as a single shawl, is knit in fingering weight yarn,
using a scant 400 yds. The pattern is ideal for mini skeins sets
of 5, at 80 yards or more; or ends from your stash,
or one full 100g skein. Go to page 10 for ideas about joining the
individual pieces into a larger shawl.
Also, please see Ravelry Projects page for other yarn options,
the pattern testers have made some amazing versions.

GAUGE & Needles:

22 sts to 4” &
30 rows to 4”
Gauge is not crucial, except for the need of
buying enough yarn and for the piece.
SIZE: EACH PIECE 19” high in the center front &
42” wide across the top after a HARD block
If you join them together, your size will change.
Notions: Stitch markers, needle or hook to tuck in ends
Hints: Stitch markers stay in place and are slipped without
notation throughout.
Remember to carry secondary colors along the edge, as you knit. Color changes happen before the edge to help with this process for clean yarn carries & finished edges. You can always cut yarns if you prefer.
Additional information is usually within parenthesis. These bits of information are to help confirm stitch counts and other information to help ensure correctness within the pattern.
