This shawl begins with a few stitches and uses 2-color brioche with increases and decreases to create the edge stitch pattern. Then a garter stitch section is added and finally a tuck stitch section is added. It’s a fun knit, completely reversible, and not too big.

For the brown example:
Yarn: a verb for keeping warm
LC: Flock 3rd edition, 2 skeins
100% Organice Merino, 50g = 290yd
Color/Dye: Pollen, dyed with Careopsis, vintage 9.1.18
DC: Gather 1st edition, 2 skeins
75% CA Rambouillet, 25% AZ Alpaca, 50g = 200yd
Color/Dye: dyed with cutch, madder, fustic, weld, vingage: 9.18.18
Needles: US 4 (3.5mm)
Gauge: 17 sts and 36 rows = 4” (10cm) in garter stitch
