NEW RELEASE: This pattern is 30% off now through 1/26/25 MT!

This may look like a chunky “knitted” pillow, but it’s not … it’s crochet! It takes seven rows of interlocking filet crochet to create one “row of knitting”. The finished Stockinette Pillow has a bobble stitch border and buttons at the bottom to add a pillow form.

This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as design charts for reference. Since it contains many diagonals to create the design, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique. If you haven’t tried diagonals on an interlocking filet mesh project yet, you can learn how on my YouTube Channel by watching Interlocking Filet Mesh: From Start to Diagonals.

In addition to typical interlocking filet crochet, and the use of diagonals, several specialized stitches have been designed to create a three-dimensional look. The use of two different hook sizes also enhances the three-dimensional effect.

The Knitted with Crochet Afghan and Garter Stitch Pillow are also included in this pattern set.
