When we moved to the countryside a couple of years ago, we couldn’t believe how beautiful it is around here: Woods and lakes and scenery, freedom for your eyes, comfort for the soul. I especially enjoy afternoons at lake Stocksee when I just watch the ducks and grebes and the subtle changes in the water surface. “Stocksee Story” captures this mood: Made out of a great supersoft silk-merino blend by Manos del Uruguay, dyed to perfection in a colorway that resembles a blue water surface with reflections of the shrubs and trees at the shore, it will be warm, soft and a pleasure to look at. The garter-stitch mini waves are completed by bigger ones in the middle of the shawl, created by tuck stitches that look interesting from the front and the reverse side. Add two pretty tassels for extra interest – and there you have your Stocksee Story!

Erste Anleitung aus dem Strickmich! Club 2020.
Der Strickmich! Club ist ein Abo für vier neue Anleitungen von Martina Behm plus exklusiv gefärbtes Garn.

Als wir vor ein paar Jahren aufs Land zogen, konnten wir kaum fassen, wie schön es hier ist: Wald und See und Landschaft, Weite fürs Auge, Entspannung für die Seele. Besonders genieße ich Nachmittage am Stocksee, bei denen ich einfach aufs Wasser gucke, Enten und Tauchvögel beobachte und zuschaue, wie der Wind das Wasser kräuselt. Ein Tuch, das genau dieses Gefühl einfängt, ist „Stocksee Story“: In dem super- weichen Seiden-Merino-Garn von Manos del Uruguay in einer Farbe, die aussieht wie bewegtes Wasser, in dem sich die grünen Uferpflanzen spiegeln, wird es weich, wärmend und spannend anzuschauen. Die kraus-rechten Mini-Wellen werden in der Mitte des Tuchs durch größere ergänzt, die durch hochgezogene Maschen entstehen und auf der Vorder- und Rückseite interessant wirken. Zum Abschluss kommen noch zwei Quasten dran, die dem Tuch auch bei leichtem Wind einen schönen Fall geben.
