This rectangular stole is worked from the middle, using a provisional cast-on. An ornamental middle motif is set against stockinette background and framed by an elaborate edging along all sides. No sewing or grafting required. The photo at the left upper corner of the collage only shows one half of the stole – the other half is identical.
