The main pattern of Celestina consists of lacy columns. It can be easily varied in the width – leave out or repeat one or more columns – and in the length, so that you can knit everything from a scarf to a blanket from the original stole pattern.

The edging at both narrow ends is knitted directly to the main pattern – no sewing or grafting required.
