This rectangular stole is worked from the middle, using a provisional cast-on – no sewing or grafting required. A big ornament is set beautifully against a background of stockinette stitch and eyelet columns. Every second eyelet column ends in one motif of the edging.

The photo at the left upper corner of the collage only shows one half of the stole – the other half is identical.

The pattern is fully charted!

Die rechteckige Stola wird aus der Mitte heraus gestrickt und beginnt mit einem provisorischen Anschlag.
Ein großes, kunstvolles Ornament hebt sich von einem Hintergrund aus glatt rechten Partien und Lochmusterstreifen ab. Aus jedem zweiten Lochmusterstreifen entwickelt sich dann ein Motiv für die Spitze.
