This stole is knitted as one piece, using a Russian folklore theme and Orenburg-style lace elements and patterns, including Diagonals (ko-so-ryad-ki), Fish (ryb-ka), Spiders (pa-u-ch-ki), and Beaded Way (bi-ser-na-ya do-ro-zh-ka)) (which creates a diamond shape). The center of the stole contains Beaded Way , and a frame made of a single chain of Fish ; the border is a single row of diagonals that create sprig motifs with Spiders inside. A chain of Fish borders the stole, lacy teeth edged the stole. The design is called “entire” or “allover.” The stole is reversible and is quite easy to knit (you only knit, knit two or three together, and yarn over).
Chart is 16 rows repeat, and done in color, which is easy to follow.

“So - don’t just knit something. Knit something beautiful!” (Barbara Walker)
