Stubbly moss stitch blends with the gentle waves of Old Shale for gorgeous texture in this asymmetrical triangular shawl. The dancing layers of colour culminate in a fluted edge. It’s a show-stopping accessory for any shawl lover.
YARN:
1 skein SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in Glow (MC) (425 yds / 388 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon).
1 set SweetGeorgia Yarns Party of Five in Blazing Trail (105 yd / 96 m per 1 oz / 28 g mini skein; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon).

NEEDLES:
Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needle, 40” / 100 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to get the correct gauge.
NOTIONS:
Stitch markers (if desired), yarn needle
GAUGE:
23 sts and 35 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Moss st patt, after blocking.
24 sts and 36 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Old Shale patt, after blocking.
Approx 19 rows = 4” / 10 cm along the top edge of shawl, after blocking.
Please note that changes in gauge will also change yardage used and final measurements.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
