Stone Path
Sometimes I like a slow-moving, complex pattern with a 
fine gauge, and other times I just want to pull out a huge 
hook and whip up something simple, chic, and superchunky.
Stone Path is inspired by Caitlin Dowe-Sandes’s cement- 
tile walkway design, which features clean lines and a stylish, 
sophisticated palette. For this project, I chose linen stitch 
because it yields a lightly textured look, echoing the stone, 
and when worked in a bulky yarn it makes a weighty piece 
perfect for sleeping late in snowy weather.
