Finished Size 6½” foot circumference and 9¼” long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable.
Yarn Knit Picks Stroll Tonal (75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon; 462 yd 422 m/3½ oz 100 g): #24905 canopy, 2 skeins. Yarn distributed by Crafts Americana.
Needles Sizes 1½ (2.5 mm) and 2 (2.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge 34 sts and 50 rnds = 4” in St st on larger needles.
The Stone’s Throw Socks are worked in a ripple pattern achieved by working decreases and increases into a k1, p1 rib. A tall leg with calf shaping makes for great boot socks.
Erratta: On rows 21 through 39, the SSP and LLPI symbols are transposed. For example, Row 21 should be worked: k1, p1, LLPI, (k1, p1) twice, k1, SSP, p1, (k1, p1) 4 times.A corrected version of the chart can be found here.
