Stonybrooke Vest
A layering piece perfect for transitioning between seasons - as winter warms or summer cools.
Knit from the bottom up in pieces with slight waist-shaping and curved front hem, the vest is seamed at the sides and shoulders, and finished with I-cord edging. Hem and center front are in ribbed pattern, and the front neck features a diagonal ribbing and cable design.
FINISHED SIZE: Bust - 32 (36, 40, 44, 48)“. Length - 20.75 (21.5, 22, 23.25, 24.5)”. Intended to be worn with 0-2” ease. Fronts do not meet, but lie slightly open.
YARN: 645 (725, 820, 950, 1135) yards DK weight wool. Shown in String Theory Merino DK (100% superwash merino wool) - Black Tulip.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate. Techniques include cabling, short rows, 3-needle bind off, I-cord edging, long-tail cast on, cable cast on, make 1 increases, and picking up stitches.
PATTERN: 8 page pdf includes written instructions, charts, and schematic.
