A modern lopapeysa worked at a loose gauge for a deliciously lightweight cardigan. Based on the popular Stopover Pullover, with endless color possibilities. It is knit entirely in the round from the bottom ribbing, with a column of stitches in the front for the steek.

US 10½ (6.5mm) 16 and 32in (40cm and 80cm) circular needles for main cardigan body and preferred needles for small circumference knitting for sleeves; or needle size necessary to get gauge
US 9 (5.5mm) 32in (80cm) circular for hem and button band and 1 set US 9 (5.5mm) double-pointed needles for sleeve cuffs – or two needle sizes smaller than main needle
Gauge 13 sts and 18 rounds = 4x4in (10x10) cm in stockinette st on US 10½ (6.5mm) needles
