Stormy Rose
A fingering weight shawl in three colours with touch of peekaboo lace.
When we lived in Texas, we saw our fair share of storms rolling through. The skies would darken, and the rain would lash down but the sun would always reappear eventually. The lace in this shawl reminds me of the sun breaking through pitch-black storm clouds, as a reminder that change is always coming and nothing lasts forever.
This colour palette was chosen by a dear knitting friend, Rose, who is a regular source of inspiration with her spectacular eye for colour.
