This yarn feels like wearing a hug. Knit in honor of Malabrigo Day it uses Malabrigo Mohair and Arroyo Superwash wool held together resulting in a very soft and cozy wrap. Model was knit using matching colorway Pearl, but pattern would be lovely in any colorway matching or coordinating.

Model used 2 skeins of Mohair and 2 skeins of Arroyo with yarn left for future project. Casting on fewer stitches would allow the use of just one skein of each yarn. Your results would vary based on your gauge.

The stitch pattern is a four-row repeat with pattern on the RS only. Icord edges are knit using only the Arroyo. The cast on border is knit using Arroyo only to show off the stitch pattern more distinctly.

This shawl pattern is adaptable. Want a bigger shawl? Cast on more stitches. Not a fan of mohair, knit with just one strand of yarn. Prefer to work with fingering weight yarn, just knit a swatch to determine how many stitches to cast on and knit away.
